The legendary Minox 'spy' cameras use the tiny 8x11 format originally introduced in 1938. Invented by Walter Zapp the cameras have been in continuous production since then - the Minox company is alive and well in Germany (www.minox.de). We stock the following 8x11 films: Adox KB14 - the original efke emulsion Ilford Delta 100
Original Ilford Delta 100 material repacked in the 8x11 cassette by Minox. Copex Spur Film Set + Chemistry Copex is the Agfa microfilm with an incredible resolution of 1600 linepairs/mm (by comparison a 35mm film is usually around 90!) but normally extremely slow. The special developer though allows the film to be rated at a useful 25-40 ASA giving the Minox user the possibility to produce negatives that would compare favourably with a medium format camera. |
