Rollei have thrown their considerable weight behind the traditional
black and white film by introducing a wide range of Rollei branded
films made with the co-operation of Maco.
The films are packaged in Rollei branded beechwood boxes. Test sets
are available for each film which consist of a 5 films, 120 or 35mm
along with a 250ml bottle of Rollei High Speed developer all in the
beechwood box. |
Rollei ATP DC Kit
The Rollei ATP DC kit consists of:
4 x Rollei ATP 35mm 36exp films
4 x 20ml Rollei ATP Developer
1 x Agfa Agefix 125ml
The ATP film is very high resolution with a nominal ISO 32, this can be varied using different developer and times, with a spectral sensitivity of 300nm to over 700nm.
Rollei ATP RLC Kit
The Rollei ATP RLC kit consists of:
4 x Rollei ATP 35mm 36 exp film
1 x 250ml Rollei RLC Developer
1 x Agfa Agefix 125ml
The Rollei RLC developer yields a maximum usable 16 ISO (don’t go over this otherwise the results will be disappointing) but will give the best tonal gradation.

The new Rollei
R³ film has been developed in co-operation with MACO
of Germany and is a new film with a wide ISO range (25 to 6400) made possible
by a multiple emulsion layers each containing silver halide crystals of
differing sizes. Spectral sensitivity also covers a wide range from orthochromatic
to panchromatic right into the infrared. Excellent resolution and contrast
allow almost unlimited enlargement. The high resolving power is due, among
other things, to an antihalation layer directly under the emulsion.
The clear base allows reversal processing and while Rollei chemicals are
designed for maximum flexibility, the films can be processed in any of the
popular chemistry.

Rollei Retro 100 and 400
Panchromatically sensitized 100 and 400 ISO films which exhibit very fine
grain results with wide exposure latitude, making these very easy to use flexible
films giving the highest image quality.

Rollei Pan 25
Very slow, high resolution film, panchromatically
sensitized film with a spectral range of 400-650nm. This film will deliver
the finest grain and detailing coupled with high sharpness.
Rollei Infra-Red Film
Rollei Infra Red film is a panchromatic film with extended sensitivity into the infra-red
region for creative photography. Rated at a nominal 400 ISO, the film is available
in 35mm, 120 rollfilm and sheet film. Use a Heliopan IR filter or dark red filter
to get the best IR effects.

Rollei Chemistry
Specially formulated for the Rollei films, the range consists
of the Low Speed and High Speed film developers along with a stop, fixer and
wetting agent. All can be found in the webshop. Not packed in beechwood boxes.

Rollei Scan Film
The Rollei Scan Film CN400 Pro is a colour negative film but without the orange colour mask. It is this mask that causes problems when scanning, so scanning the Rollei Scan Film negatives is much easier. The film is rated at 400 ASA, 21 ISO and is processed in standard C-41 chemistry.

Rollei Slide Direct
Slide Direct is a positive copy film, giving a direct positive instead of a negative, and mainly used for document or negative copying. It can be used pictorially, but it needs a LOT of light as the usable ISO is around 10-20 (!). For more information, click on the yellow light bulb.
